Singer and album news!
We have a new singer! Yes! You heard (read) it right… we have found a new singer but we won't be revealing who it is until we have finished writing and recording the preprods for the whole album.
We have already finished recording drums and guitars on six brand news songs for the upcoming album and will start working on vocals as soon as Max has tracked down bass on it all.
Keep checking back for more information!

Due to the fact that BREED is without a lead singer, we have decided to cancel the gig at Lost Weekend Festival. This is of course very unfortunate, but we feel that we have to take all the time we need to find the right singer for the band. We have already auditioned a few singers, so we have started the search. In the near future we will continue the search and make sure that everyone who has shown interest so far, will get the chance to show us what they’ve got.
In addition to this, the writing process of new material for our second album is gliding along smoothly. We have some exciting new stuff in the making and every day we get closer to getting out there and play it for you live.
In the meantime we hope you keep us in mind and make sure to check in on us for updates.
We are experiencing some difficulties with our MySpace site- this will soon be resolved and all updates and news will be posted on both sites.

After much consideration Breed have decided to part ways with singer Maurice Adams. There is no secret that the band have struggled this past year and things have more or less been status quo, due to loss of drummers and difficulties within the band.
The most diffcult part to handle is the constant disagreements and differences in views on how things should be done.
This makes the crative prosess very difficult and it steals away the joy of being in a band.
Without placing blame on one person, Breed will go on and hope for the continued support from you people, who have discovered us and filled us with energy and belief that our music is wanted.
We will start the search for the right person to fill the spot of lead singer right away, and we are confidant that once we have found the right person our new material will lead us away from status quo and on to great things ahead.
We would like to thank Maurice for his contribution to the band and wish him all the best in the future!

Breed announces Tommy Kaare as our new drummer! Tommy is a fantastic person and he fits the band perfect with his down to earth attitude and his fantastic way of playing. We welcome you brother! More info will be added soon, in the meantime, feel free to check out his myspace site at www.myspace.com/trommy
There`s no secret that it has been a very turbulent year for us so far, we`ve had our problems with the crew and that slows the whole progress down. In spite of this, we can say that things are moving forward and when we release a new album, we will get on tour and make sure that everyone who wants to see us can get their chance.

Breedcamp has finally ended the search after a replacement for Espen Pedersen who decided to leave the band in April this year.
We did over 6 months with auditions, stand-in drummers, endless interviews, long discussions and near call-offs, Breed did several gigs including Hell music festival, Oslo day of music, Kvinesdal rock festival and support for Killswitch Engage, all with different drummers. (thanks again guys!!) Then when we did the Halo 3 kickoff with "Sølvguttene" and "Ronni Le tekrø", we tried out this new guy, Erik Engebretsen from Østfold and he just blew us away! With his incredibly hard hitting and bad-ass drumming he crushed all his potential competition.
And with that we are proud to announce that Erik is now officially the new drummer of Breed. It feels incredible good to be a complete band again and we can't wait to start working on the new album with Mr.Engebretsen!
Welcome bro,
-Damage, Maurice, Mads."

Breeds drummer, Espen Pedersen, has decided to leave the band due to him moving from Oslo and not being able to give the band his full attention. We would like to express our gratitude to Espen and his contribution to Breed! We all wish him the best of luck in the future!
This means that we are on the outlook for a replacement. The right person has to be dedicated and have the time and engagement needed to be part of a band commited to hard work with long, but fun hours!
If YOU feel that you might be the right person up for the job, feel free to contact Mr. Damage at: damage@breedmusic.net
